Seller standards
Maintain accurate identity and store information, list only available and permitted items, describe condition and defects, show authentic images, state fulfilment terms, protect customer data, and communicate professionally.
Buyer safety
Review the listing and merchant, keep relevant communication on IslandHub, use the supported checkout flow, inspect collection details, and report requests for unusual payments, credentials, verification codes, or unnecessary personal information.
Cash transactions
Cash and other payments arranged directly with a merchant are not collected, held, refunded, or guaranteed by IslandHub. Use card checkout when you want platform payment protection.
If you still choose cash, keep the exchange safer:
- Meet in a public place
- Inspect the item before paying
- Do not send cash, transfers, or gift cards in advance
- Keep the conversation on IslandHub
- Do not hand over the item before you have the cash
- IslandHub cannot recover cash disputes
Orders, fulfilment, and refunds
Merchants must honour confirmed descriptions and order commitments, keep fulfilment status current, and follow the Refunds and Returns Policy. Buyers must provide accurate delivery information and raise issues honestly.
Use customer information carefully
Order and contact information may be used only to fulfil the transaction, provide support, prevent fraud, or meet a legal obligation. Do not add customers to unrelated marketing lists or disclose their information.
Moderation
IslandHub may review reports, withdraw listings, suspend stores or users, and restore content after review. Decisions consider safety, evidence, legal obligations, severity, and repeat conduct. See the Community Guidelines.
