Open Promotions. Store promotions contains your own discounts. IslandHub campaigns shows campaigns you may be able to join with eligible listings.
1Create your store promotion
Select Create promotion. If a store is required, finish setting up your store first.
Enter a clear promotion name and description. Explain the offer in words a buyer can understand, such as “10% off selected summer items.”
2. Choose the discount and eligible items
Enter the discount percentage. For example, a 10% discount reduces a KYD 50 item by KYD 5 before other charges.
Choose Applies to:
- All items: Use the promotion across the applicable store items.
- Specific items: Select the listings you want to include.
- Specific categories: Select the categories you want to include.
If you choose specific items or categories, make the selection before saving. Review the offer carefully: discounts reduce what you earn, and normal marketplace fees still apply.
3Set the dates
Choose the start and end date and time. The form uses your device’s time zone. Check it before saving, especially if you are travelling.
The end must be after the start. When editing an offer that has already started, its start date is locked.
Select Create promotion and check its details and status afterward. A saved promotion may be scheduled rather than active immediately.
4Manage the promotion
Open it from the promotions list. Review the available edit and status actions before making changes. On the edit screen, additional controls may include a maximum discount, a minimum purchase amount, and total or per-user usage limits.
A minimum purchase amount is the amount the order must meet to qualify. Usage limits restrict how often an offer can be used. Do not confuse the discount amount with the price the buyer pays.
If the offer uses a coupon or generated codes, review its code controls and share only the code intended for buyers. Codes do not remove the offer’s dates or eligibility rules.
5Join an IslandHub campaign
Open IslandHub campaigns, select an available campaign, and read its terms. Choose eligible listings and complete the join steps shown. Check your participation afterward instead of assuming every store listing was added.
If an offer does not work
- Check whether it has started, expired, paused, or ended.
- Confirm the item or category is included.
- Check the minimum purchase and usage limits, if set.
- For a code-based offer, check the code and its eligibility.
- Review the discount at checkout before placing an order.
Contact support if the result still looks wrong. Include the promotion name, affected listing, and any message shown.
